The Capannelle Recourse is Rock in Roma “home” since 2009. The edition held in year 2013 introduced a new inedited version of the festival, all potential shown on its previous editions gathered together reaching its highest expression. The area used for the festival inside the hippodrome increased vastly and a completely new arena was created and launched as white stage, capable to welcome up to 45.000 people. This represented a significant upgrade.

The Circus Maximus is an ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium and mass entertainment venue located in Rome. THE BASE / ROCK IN ROMA opened, for the first time, Circus Maximus to host paid big live show (200.000 people attended The Rolling Stones, Bruce Sprigsteen, David Gilmour and Roger Waters special events @ Circo Massimo)
