Pedro (vocals), Ka (guitar), Dani (drums), and Ivan (bass) formed Finley in 2002 while still in school, a natural evolution of the friendship that united the four musicians. In 2006, they released their debut album “Tutto è Possibile” (Everything is Possible). The album, produced by Claudio Cecchetto and followed by an extensive tour, quickly went double platinum (over 160,000 physical copies sold).
To crown a year of success, the band won Best Italian Act at the MTV EMA’s in Copenhagen. In June 2007, Finley released their second album: “Adrenalina”. This time, their tour spanned all of Italy and brought them onto the stages of the most prestigious European festivals.
In 2008, the band took part in the 58th Sanremo Music Festival, placing fifth with the song “Ricordi” (Memories). That same week, they released “Adrenalina 2”, an album featuring the Mexican pop star Belinda, which became platinum within a few weeks. Following the “Adrenalina 2” tour, Finley won Best Italian Act again at the MTV EMA’s in Liverpool.
In November 2009, the band presented an EP of unreleased tracks titled “Band At Work”, which anticipated the release of their third album “Fuori!” (Out!), released on March 30, 2010. Finley continued their journey with new tours and collaborations, including one with Edoardo Bennato, and created the track “Per La Vita Che Verrà” (For the Life to Come) for Disney, featured in the Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam soundtrack.
2012 was a particularly important year for the band, with the release of “Fuoco e Fiamme” (Fire and Flames), their first album produced under their own record label, Gruppo Randa, and “Sempre Solo Noi” (Always Only Us), a concept album celebrating their 10-year career.
In January 2013, LEGO selected Finley to create the soundtrack for its new project “Legends of Chima”: “Unleash The Power”, “Day Of Glory”, and “Horizon” were the three tracks accompanying the campaign of the prestigious Danish brand.
On October 13, 2017, they released a new studio album titled “Armstrong”, preceded by the singles “La Fine del Mondo” (The End of the World), “Odio il DJ” (I Hate the DJ), and “7 Miliardi” (7 Billion). In March 2018, they released “Tutto quello che ho” (Everything I Have), chosen by Sky Sport as the official soundtrack for the Formula One World Championship.
In 2019, they released “We Are Finley”, a live collection of their best songs, along with the singles “San Diego” and “Santa Claustrofobia”. Finley returned on tour in spring 2022, registering one sold-out show after another. In February 2023, they released the song “Porno” with Naska, marking a return to the sound that defined their early work. This was the first step in a new artistic journey, continued with the single “Politically Correct” in collaboration with Benji.
On May 17, 2024, they released their latest studio album “Pogo Mixtape – Vol.1”, featuring 14 unreleased tracks, all duets with major Italian and international artists.
